Terms & RUO Policy
Conditions of supply
The basis on which material is sold, who it is sold to, and the limits of what we will say about it. Read this before ordering.
All material is supplied for laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption.
No human or animal administration. No personal, clinical, veterinary, therapeutic, diagnostic, or cosmetic use.
None of the compounds in this catalog is approved by the FDA for human use. None is supplied as a drug, food, cosmetic or dietary supplement. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
1. Who we supply
Material is sold to qualified investigators, institutional laboratories and commercial research and development groups. By placing an order you confirm that you are professionally qualified to handle research chemicals, that the material will be used for in-vitro work or non-human in-vivo studies conducted under an approved protocol, and that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
2. Permitted use
Material is supplied as a laboratory reagent. It may not be administered to humans, used in food or cosmetics, resold for human use, or supplied onward to any party who intends such use. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.
3. What we do not provide
- Therapeutic, diagnostic, preventive or performance claims of any kind.
- Dosing, administration, cycling or protocol guidance.
- Advice about use in humans, including answers to questions framed as hypothetical.
- Comparisons to approved medicines for the purpose of substitution.
Enquiries of this kind will not receive a substantive reply. This is not a technicality - supplying a reagent and advising on its use in a person are different activities, and we do the first only.
4. Documentation
Every lot is released against a certificate of analysis produced by an independent contract laboratory. Certificates describe the lot as assayed on the date stated. They make no representation about biological activity, fitness for any particular purpose, or safety in any organism.
Certificates remain published at a stable address after a lot sells out, is superseded or is withdrawn. Withdrawn lots retain their page with a dated annotation.
5. Specification and withdrawal
Material below our release specification is destroyed and is not offered at a reduced grade or price. If a released lot is later found to be out of specification it is withdrawn, all recipients on record are notified by email, and the certificate is annotated. Affected material is replaced or refunded at the purchaser’s choice, including shipping.
6. Returns and transit protection
Every order carries transit protection at no charge: material that arrives damaged, is lost by the carrier or is held is replaced without a return. Unopened vials with an intact crimp seal may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Opened vials cannot be returned for chain-of-custody reasons. Material that does not match its certificate is replaced or refunded whether or not it has been opened. The procedure is set out on Returns & damage.
7. Shipping and import
Title and risk pass on delivery to the carrier. International purchasers are importer of record and are responsible for duties, taxes and compliance with local import rules. Some jurisdictions restrict import of research chemicals; confirm local requirements before ordering.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the supply of material is limited to the purchase price of that material. We are not liable for any loss arising from use of material outside the permitted use set out above.
9. Privacy
We collect the information needed to process and ship an order, and release-note email addresses where volunteered. We do not sell, rent or share customer information with third parties for marketing. The full statement, including retention periods and your rights, is the Privacy Policy. The limits of what this site says are set out in the Disclaimer.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published at the time of your order, and previous versions are retained on request.
Write to lab@peptides.com with the specific clause. We would rather answer before an order than argue after one.
