The limits of what this site says
Read alongside the Terms & RUO Policy. This page exists so that nothing on the site can be read as more than it is.
Every compound on this site is a laboratory reagent supplied for research use only.
No human or animal administration. No personal, clinical, veterinary, therapeutic, diagnostic, or cosmetic use.
Regulatory status
None of the compounds in this catalog is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or by any other regulator, for use in humans or animals. Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the FDA. Nothing here is a drug, a food, a cosmetic or a dietary supplement, and nothing is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
No medical advice
Nothing on this site is medical, veterinary or health advice, and nothing should be read as a recommendation about use in any organism. We do not provide dosing, administration, reconstitution or protocol guidance, and enquiries of that kind do not receive a substantive reply.
Certificates of analysis
A certificate describes a lot as assayed by an independent laboratory on the date stated: appearance, purity, identity, content, water, counter-ion and endotoxin, by the methods named. It makes no representation about biological activity, stability after opening, fitness for any purpose, or safety in any organism. Certificates remain published after a lot sells out or is withdrawn, with withdrawals annotated.
Literature
Where a product page lists peer-reviewed publications, they are cited as bibliographic references: title, journal, year and authors as published. We do not summarise their findings, endorse their conclusions, or suggest that any result applies to material supplied by us. A citation is not a claim.
Structures and models
Skeletal formulae and three-dimensional models are generated from the catalogued sequence with idealised geometry. They are illustrations of connectivity, not measured conformations, and they are not evidence of the identity of any lot. Identity is confirmed by LC-MS on the certificate for that lot.
House designations
Some catalog entries carry a house research designation rather than a generic name. For these, no CAS number or identity is asserted on the product page. The observed mass of the lot in stock is reported on its certificate, and nothing further is claimed.
Accuracy
We work to keep prices, stock, lot numbers and certificate data correct, and the catalog revision is printed in the footer of every page. Where a page and a certificate disagree, the certificate is the record. Errors are corrected when found, and orders affected by a material error are cancelled and refunded rather than fulfilled.
