Receiving & Handling

Keeping a lot in the condition it was released in

A receiving and handling procedure for lyophilised research peptides: what to check before the parcel arrives, at the bench, and when a vial is opened. Tick items as you go; the list is remembered in this browser. No dosing information is provided.

01

Before it arrives

Most receiving problems are decided before the parcel exists. Three things to have in place.

02

At receiving

Parcels ship at ambient temperature. Lyophilised peptide does not need coolant in transit, and a vial that warmed on the way is not automatically compromised.

03

Storage conditions

The certificate for each lot states its storage conditions and its retest date. Both apply to the sealed, lyophilised vial only.

04

Opening a vial

Cold glass condenses moisture onto the cake. The fix costs fifteen minutes.

05

Keep a usable record

The certificate covers the lot. Your record covers what happened to it after the seal came off.

06

What we will not tell you

We do not publish dosing, administration or protocol guidance, and we cannot advise on use in humans or animals. Material is supplied as a laboratory reagent under our terms of supply, and the acknowledgement at checkout is part of every order.

Release notes

New lots and certificates, once a month.

Which lots were released, which were retired, and what changed in the catalog. No offers, no dosing content, one click to leave.
